The complete internal demolition and clearing of the first floor of Block B of the Chemistry Department, a total of 900m².
Space planning to form state of the art laboratories for research and teaching including: main Chemistry laboratories, microbiology laboratories, cold room, radiochemistry, write-up rooms, and associated computing facilities.
The provision of two specialist research laboratories, one to house a laser table and the other an electron microscope.
The refurbishment of a 400m² single storey building to create an IT teaching and training centre accommodating two teaching laboratories, administration and support areas, and a drop-in centre.
The stripping down to wall and roof structure of the first floor of a two storey steel framed building. The space was re-planned, relined and re-serviced to house Computational Chemistry teaching laboratories, staff rooms and a central common area.
